Suttle Economics

Phil Suttle

What happens if (and when) the global economy rebounds into 2020?

The presentation focused on Phil’s belief that we are entering the 5th upswing of the economic expansion driven by easier financial conditions, an amelioration of trade tensions, and an inventory cycle approaching bottom. Phil can be credited with creating the JP Morgan Global Data Watch on the basis that to understand one country, one needs an understanding of the rest - a thesis that gained support with each successive crisis starting with Mexico in 1994. Phil set up independently in 2017 and prior to that was most recently a Director at Tudor Investment.

Is Phil right? Are we going up or down?
